A 700 sqm new build educational facility for Bedfordshire Opportunities for Learning Disabilities, a charity who provide educational and employment facilities for adults with learning difficulties.  The ground floor provides a workshop facility, a shop and café for the general public, and the first and second floor a series of educational and training facilities for the charity.

 

The design of the building is a simple form, but punctuated with an arrangement of offset windows with coloured reveals.  This was a direct result of engagement with the charity and their staff and users and is intended to reflect the outgoing and fun personalities of the people using the building
