The Cedar Room House
Single storey extension to family home.

The Cedar Room project entailed the expansion and reorganisation of a former Clergy House adjacent to the Grade I listed church. The family's expansion necessitated a reconfiguration of the house, which was deemed too small for their growing needs. The client's vision to infuse a modernist twist into the heritage structure received approval from the Conservation Officer and Historic England.
While the footprint of the original house experienced a modest increase, the transformation included a discreet loft conversion and a comprehensive reconfiguration of the internal layout. These modifications have successfully transformed the space into a contemporary family home, aligning with the client's aspirations for a harmonious blend of modern living within a heritage setting.
