Sports Pavilion

New build sports pavilion within a Grade II listed School site

Spratton Hall School

Situated at the front of the school site, adjacent to a Grade II listed building, is a newly constructed sports pavilion. The design of the building is deliberately simple and unassuming, aiming to seamlessly integrate into the open landscape while respecting its proximity to a historically significant listed structure. Emphasizing the importance of building materiality, the pavilion features a glulam structure and locally sourced ironstone.

The architectural choice includes a low-pitched, curved standing seam aluminium roof, mirroring the gentle undulations of the surrounding countryside. This design element contributes to a subtle roofline for the pavilion. Access to the primary changing facilities is provided through a spacious entrance gallery, affording the school an opportunity to showcase the achievements of its students, both past and present.
